AN INDICATION FOR 2017? KANU ,ODM GIVE JAP A RUN FOR THEIR MONEY

ODM STAMPS AUTHORITY AS JAP IS SHAKEN

By Armstrong K. Abala

Relax we got your back:  Prime minister Raila Odinga , Malindi MP elect and Govern Amason Kingi

Now that JAP has clinched the Kericho by – election I hope it will not be a new platform for the Deputy President to start beating his chest, I hope it does not give him so much bragging rights.

It is evident that even with JAPs win, a strong and I mean a very strong message has been sent to the ruling coalition that indeed it will not be business as usual when it comes to the rift valley politics anymore.

Even with the tensions that had been witnessed, it in Kericho the people of that county have proved that indeed a peaceful election can actually happen even with tensions all over, indeed this was not a case of Kericho electing their leader but it was a supremacy battle between Ruto, Gideon Moi and Governor Ruto.

Interestingly, this has taken another Swift after the Former President who is also the father to Gideon Moi the leader of KANU criticized the ruling coalition which he supported for indulging and failing to stop massive corruption that seems to be bedeviling it.

Moi has indicated that the corruption rates in the JUBILEE administration are worse than he has ever seen in his lifetime; could this be a way of drumming up support for his son Gideon Moi and the KANU party? (That remains unto you to answer)

The CORD Coalition has on the other hand stamped its authority in Malindi and the larger Coast Region after flooring the JAP party to clinch back the malindi parliamentary seat

Despite massive voter bribery carried out by JAP led by Ferdinand Waititu , who nearly had his face tampered with by Governor Hassan Joho, the ODM and CORD Coalition has smiled last .

It is now very clear to people like Mungaro that their time is actually numbered , that they have hit a dead rock and that JAP  has no place in the region.

Congratulations are in order though for both the winners, Kericho Senator and Malindi MP
