JUBILEE, CORD POLITICS PLAY OUT AT KIMC ANNUAL CULTURAL WEEK EVEN AS THE NEW MR. AND MISS MASS 2016 ARE CROWNED

POLITICAL ANIMOSITY WITNESSED AT  KIMC ANNUAL CULTURAL WEEK EVENT WITH CORD AND JUBILEE AT BOTH ENDS

A few days after the Kenya institute of Mass Communications hit the media for torching a private developer’s house whom they accused of grabbing their institutes land , KIMC moved on and finally held  the Grand Finale of their annual Cultural week that ends with the crowning of the new Mr. and Miss Mass yesterday.

However the event would slightly be politically heated up after the Director of State House Digital platform Mr. Itumbi and a delegation that claimed to be “Team Uhuru” and started dishing out thousands of shillings to the runway contestants with promises of fully sponsored trips for the winners to Mombasa courtesy of “Team Uhuru”

Little did the Team Uhuru guys know that bloods of the people and students purportedly allied to the CORD coalition were boiling in rage.




Former Chairman and Alumnus of the institute Boniface Mayabi who is purportedly a CORD fanatic took to the ground throwing accusation at the “Team Uhuru” of using NYS money and stolen Eurobond money to confuse Kenyans.

“This is free earned money Eurobond and NYS that you are using to confuse people here, what is Team Uhuru, we are also Team Raila” forked Mayabi

Security had to come and whisk Mr. Mayabi from the scene to avoid purported “embarrassment” that could have been caused to the Jubilee LORDS.

After leaving the stage, Itumbi had an uphill task to explain to crowd of students, why he is an alumnus and sits next to the President yet Private developers were grabbing KIMC land day in and Out, He further was taken to task for politicizing an event that was supposed to be a political free environment.

Team Uhuru as they called themselves, donated Ksh 30, 0000 for both the winners of Mr. and Miss Mass, for the first runners up, they both walked with 20, 000 each and for both the number threes, a cool Ksh 15, 000


The CORD brigades on the ground however took issues with the donations claiming they were Eurobond and NYS money that was being dished out like ground nuts.
