CLEARLY UHURU HAS NEW TACTICS FROM UGANDA ON HOW TO DEAL WITH OPPOSITION
IT HAS NOT BEEN LONG BEFORE UHURU LEARNT NEW TACTICS ON HOW TO HANDLE OPPOSITION FROM HIS FRIEND MUSEVENI
By Armstrong K. Abala
It is clear if not evident that the Jubilee regime led by its leader Uhuru Kenyatta have found new tactics of handling opposition in the country.
Uhuru seems to have not taken a long while to learn a few of the tactics from his friend Museveni of Uganda who seems to have a decisive way of dealing with anyone who tends to oppose is NRM led government.
well let me quickly remind Uhuru and the Jubilee regime that we are in Kenya and that they better not think otherwise. Our Democracy has come a long way to be raped by few individuals who think they can return us to the dark ages of assassination of the opposition political leaders and baseless detentions.
The resent assassination of one of the Opposition allies Jacob Juma has had all fingers pointing at the government with accusations from the late Jacob himself showing that the Government could have played a major role in his death.
It should be clear to the Jubilee government that we are not willing to sacrifice our democracy for anything. No amount of intimidation will make us go back to the dark ages that we have fought so much to maintain and the peace that we enjoy in Kenya.
The resent hypocritical swearing in of Museveni after a truly and evidently wrangled elections in Uganda that of course his friend Uhuru attended will not and should not be allowed to ever happen in Kenya like it did in 2007 therefore the need to have a new face of the IEBC in Kenya.
It is very evident that the IEBC as currently constituted enjoys a lot of support from one side of the divide which is the government. The tremendous calls for its reconstitution should be actualized for Kenya to be assured of a free, fair and peaceful elections.
The government must therefore not think at any time that teargassing the opposition leaders and releasing huge police tanks on the road like witnessed in Uganda will cow us. We will fight for the freedom of Kenyans at all cost . We will not allow what our forefathers fought for be thrown down the drain.
Kenyans will stand with their democracy and peace that will see this country prosper in all her en-devours.
